Over a decade ago, I experienced an ankle and foot injury that involved spraining my ankle. At the time, I was given an aircast and told to rest it for a while. I started running again about a month later with mild soreness that eventually resolved. However, last October, my old injury started acting up again. While I’ve been running consistently this past decade, I had ramped up my running over the spring and summer as I started getting back into more competitive 5k & 10k runs.
